Join Us in Honduras!

We are passionate about sharing the rich stories behind every coffee, and a key pillar of our mission is to connect roasters and coffee enthusiasts with Honduran coffee producers, fostering personal and sustainable relationships.

Collaboration, transparency, and true sustainability are at the core of a thriving coffee supply chain. By working closely with dedicated producers, we ensure each coffee embodies their hard work and passion, creating a lasting impact on the communities we serve and the environment we strive to protect while providing our clients with high-quality, consistent coffees year after year.

To facilitate this collaboration and help share the wonders of Honduran coffee, we are inviting coffee roasters, baristas, and coffee professionals to join us down at origin in March.

Why Join Our Origin Trips?

By hosting these origin trips, we take a significant step toward bridging the supply chain and fostering the collaboration necessary for a more equitable coffee industry. Connecting people in the consuming-end of our value chain directly with producers allows them to witness the process firsthand—gaining a unique perspective, deepening their understanding, and fostering long-term partnerships built on trust and transparency.

This trip isn’t just about sourcing coffee; it’s about experiencing the dedication, expertise, and innovation that go into every harvest. If you’d like to explore the country’s major coffee-producing regions, meet our producer partners, explore their farms, cup this year’s harvest, and enjoy the natural wonders of our country, then this experience is for you!

The Importance of Relationships in Coffee

We want to do everything in our power to facilitate relationships that drive our industry forward and, through this experience, you’ll gain a deeper appreciation for your coffee—not just its flavor but also the challenges and dedication behind every bean. These face-to-face interactions foster trust and mutual respect, creating partnerships that can withstand market shifts and supply chain unpredictability.

With coffee prices reaching record highs due to climate challenges, supply shortages, and increasing demand, transparency is more critical than ever. While roasters feel the pressure, producers are also navigating rising costs, stricter quality control, and unpredictable climate patterns that directly affect harvest yield. These relationships ensure that farmers are fairly compensated while roasters secure high-quality, consistent coffee in an everchanging market - a win-win situation!

True collaboration can only happen when both sides share knowledge, align on challenges, and identify opportunities. Open communication fosters innovation, better problem-solving, and a stronger, more ethical supply chain. By investing in these relationships, we create something deeper than transactions—we build a future where everyone in the coffee supply chain thrives.

Both trips will explore various coffee-growing regions across Honduras. You’ll visit our producer partners at their farms, cup coffees alongside them, explore local spots, engage in community activities, and share meals and drinks with producers.

By the end of these trips, you’ll have strengthened your relationships across the supply chain and gained firsthand insight into how Honduran coffee is grown, processed, and enjoyed.

Beyond The Coffee

This origin experiences goes beyond ‘just coffee’. You’ll also have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the communities and landscapes where it all begins by learning about our social and environmental efforts firsthand.

Regenerative Reforestation in Honduras

In Copán, where coffee farming and environmental conservation go hand in hand, we've planted over 5,000+ native trees—restoring ecosystems, improving soil health, and ensuring a future for specialty coffee. Additionally, we are working with our partners to establish a nursery for cultivating local tree varieties, helping restore and expand reforestation sites.

Education as a key pillar for growth

Beyond environmental sustainability, we are committed to supporting coffee-growing communities through education. In partnership with local organizations, we help provide rural children with access to learning opportunities that would otherwise be out of reach. Many schools in these areas face resource shortages, and our initiatives help bridge that gap, ensuring students receive the support they need. During the trip, you’ll have the chance to learn more about these efforts and gain a deeper understanding of the role education plays in securing the future of coffee.

These trips are also about meaningful cultural exchange. Past visitors have connected with farming families, shared meals, and gained a profound appreciation for the challenges and triumphs of coffee production. The relationships built during these experiences are long-lasting, fostering trust and collaboration between roasters and producers. Throughout the trip, there will be opportunities to engage with local initiatives, see the impact of our collective efforts, and walk away with a renewed sense of purpose in sourcing coffee responsibly.

Meet Us at the Producer & Roaster Forum

To wrap up this year’s origin trips, we’ll be at the Producer & Roaster Forum on March 27–28, 2025, at the Copantl Hotel & Convention Center in San Pedro Sula, Honduras.
